About me

Hi!

My name is Tiffany Lo and I love all animals. I currently have 5 dachshunds, 1 tortoise, 2 turtles, 3 aquariums [20gal, 6gal, 39gal], and a 125gal pond. I love seeing all my babies happy and thriving. It has always been tough for me to find the right pet sitter for them. Not many people are familiar with multiple species. There are look-fors that are easily identifiable to me to help stop issues before they worsen, i.e. a fish being chased and hiding and taking quick gulps of air- I can quarantine the chaser or the fish being chased to reduce the latter’s stress levels, preventing further discomfort and weakening of their immune system. It was so upsetting to arrive back from a trip and notice a fish I had for 3 years died. Of course, these occurrences are not always preventable; but when they are I will act on it. Because of this, I wanted to be that type of pet caregiver for others. Going to work long hours or going on vacation is stressful when you know you have your serotonin-boosting babies at home waiting for you. I will send pictures, videos, and updates to you to put your mind at ease so that you can focus on being present wherever you are. Your pets become my babies too and will be treated as such.

I have had all types of dogs over the past 40 years: Boxer, Yorkshire Terrier, Pekingese, Pomeranian, to name a few.

I have been adopting/ rescuing dachshunds since 2008.

My first rescue dachshund was Apollo. He was the most adorable black and tan smooth-haired dachshund. He was 8 years old when I adopted him. It was love at first sight. He did not have much fur and was significantly overweight. I upgraded his diet by incorporating raw and dehydrated dog food and walked him twice a week.

I started him on very slow and short walks. Each week, I would add an additional 15 minutes. After 6 months, Apollo would walk like an excited freight train for 5 miles! At that time, all of his fur had grown back and he was muscular.

Seeing his full recovery and happiness brought me so much joy- to know I provided that for him.

I now currently have 4 dachshunds and 1 dachshund mix and live in Butler Beach, Florida. You have probably seen us walking. Lady walking a herd of dachshunds? That’s me! They are loyal, naughty, stubborn, adorable, and love to snuggle. Most of them were never walked on a leash before I adopted them.

My why/ reason for starting this business: I love to help all animals enjoy life. It makes me so happy to see my turtles and fish loving the new bog filter I built for their pond and see them zooming around exploring in the clear water, and seeing a dog find joy in simple things like running on the beach, sniffing a shell, or jumping into waves. Walks are so transformative for dogs. The dog that completed a walk is always a different dog from the one who began it. They go from being anxious and neurotic to calm and mellow. The way they approach their day is then completely different. Mine go from being super hyper to mellow porch dogs sniffing the air and observing the birds. Walks are so healing and should happen regularly.

If you feel the same, contact me today if you have any questions and/ or to schedule a meet and greet :)
